Article II. CARVINS COVE NATURAL RESERVE |

§ 35-14. Application of article; definition.
(a)
The provisions of this article shall apply to the Carvins Cove Natural Reserve, subject to the rights reserved to the city and the restrictions placed on the city in the grant of easement dated September 17, 1998, between the City of Roanoke and the United States of America to provide for a portion of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
(b)
Unless indicated to the contrary, the term "Carvins Cove Natural Reserve," as used in this article, shall mean all of the land owned by the city, situated partly in the County of Roanoke and partly in the County of Botetourt, and extending beyond the watershed of Carvins Creek. Such property shall not include property owned by the Western Virginia Water Authority.
