§ 35-18. Temporary suspension of recreational privileges and closing of area.

(a)

All recreational privileges permitted in the Carvins Cove Natural Reserve may be temporarily discontinued by the city manager to preserve the safety of the water supply; or

(b)

Whenever climatic or other conditions cause the Carvins Cove Natural Reserve, or any part thereof, to become hazardous for recreational purposes in the opinion of the city manager, the city manager may close the area, or the part thereof rendered hazardous, until such hazardous conditions terminate or are abated.
