§ 21-37. Spitting on floors, etc., of public buildings or conveyances or on sidewalks.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to spit or expectorate upon the steps, porches, platforms, floors, halls or entrances, of any public building, or upon the sidewalks of any street or public place within the city, or within or upon the steps, floors or entrances of any public conveyance operated within the city.
(b)
Any person who violates this section shall be guilty of a Class 4 misdemeanor.
