§ 21-230. Violations of article.

  • (a)

    Any person violating any section of this article or failing to comply with any portion of this article shall be guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor. Each day of violation of any provision of this article occurs shall constitute a separate offense.

    (b)

    Any business location where individuals have been convicted of three (3) or more violations of this article within a twelve-month period shall surrender its restaurant license pursuant to section 13-15 of the Code of the City of Roanoke.

    (c)

    In addition thereto and not in lieu thereof, any continuing violation of any section of the article may be enjoined by the Circuit Court upon application of the attorney for the City of Roanoke. The City of Roanoke through the office of the city attorney in addition to the injunction may seek civil relief to recover the costs of providing services to businesses that are in violation of this article.
