§ 2-63. Appointment and control of director of human resources; director to serve free from restraint, interference or coercion by other employees, boards, etc.

  • A director of human resources shall be appointed by the city manager and shall be subject to the control and supervision of the city manager or the city manager's designee. Once appointed, the director of human resources shall perform the duties and responsibilities of such position free from interference, restraint or coercion by the council or any employee, board, committee or commission of the city.
